Don't Get Scammed Like I Did!

One day while searching for products to promote and recommend, I stumbled across this program stating I could make money typing from home. I'd always heard that these types of programs were scams. I read their sales pitch...all I had to do was.....

Enter data online I would receive a list of keywords I would be shown how to write a simple text ad For writing ads and submitting to companies I would get paid $25.00 to $50.00

WOW this is great! WRONG AGAIN!!!

First of all...the sample chart of his earnings looked just like a sales chart from a company I  had already joined (for FREE). More than likely it was HIS sales statistics for selling HIS program to other people.

Type ads? I had a hunch he was talking about typing ads for pay-per-click search engines, but no where in his sales page does he state this.

What the hell, I decided to order it ($49.99), at least I could review it  and possibly recommend it to others.

I could not believe I had let myself be taken in by some salesman's pitch, yet I had. I had forgotten the cardinal rule, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!"

Sure you were typing data and yes it did involve a program I already had joined FREE. A program that ANYONE can join FREE. The companies that you are "supposedly working for" are affiliate programs and again it is FREE to join a company's affiliate program.

As a member of his program you had access to companies where you could place free classified advertisements. Approximately 45% of the links to these free classified ad sites no longer worked. Running a search through one of the major search engines, you would probably turn up better results than what this site had to offer.

What this program doesn't tell you up front is that you will be typing ads to run in FREE classifieds or pay-per-click search engines. IT WILL COST YOU to place your ads on a pay-per-click site. It is FREE to join a Pay-per-Click Program or Search Engine, but you have to make a deposit into your pay-per-click account to begin running your ads. When someone clicks on the ads the amount that you have bid for a particular keyword is deducted from the balance in YOUR account. The only way you will get paid for typing your ads, is if someone buys the product through the affiliate program. This program leaves out lots and lots of details and is VERY misleading.

His program was Pay-Per-Click Marketing disguised as a type-at-home program.

If you want to get started marketing affiliate products through pay-per-click, this is NOT the product to purchase. You would be far better off with one of the top programs I recommend here.

I was furious! I yanked their company's ad banner off my home business site. I could not in all honesty offer this program to people, knowing it was not what it claimed to be.

There is a happy ending to my story. I emailed the person who sold me the program, and told him what I thought about his program and requested a refund. I DID NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Imagine that!!
