Enough about Katrina and the aftermath, most of us on
the coast are so tired of hearing and living it. The coast will
build back and hopefully it will be bigger and better.
Let me tell you a little about my business
background, in case you are interested.....
I worked for 25 years for a major telecommunications
company and took an early retirement. During those 25 years, I have
owned a couple of successful businesses, a T-shirt shop, a screen
printing shop, and a small local equine newspaper.
Just some of my past occupations: telephone operator,
sales and service rep (phone co), newspaper editor, airbrush artist,
bartender (local, casino and hotels), patient access rep, and
medical records technician.
As far as my computer experience goes...
I am totally self taught and I do not have any
college. I guess you might say I'm a graduate of the school of hard
knocks. My first computer was given to me in 1994 by my then
father-n-law and it was a old Tandy. Through the years I read up on
computer programs, the internet, just basically anything I could get
my hands on. I was hooked! I don't think I know enough to be
considered a "computer geek" since things are constantly changing on
the net and with computers. I am trying to become more proficient in
some graphics programs, since I haven't really used them on a
regular basis since Corel 4.0. So I have a lot of catching up to do
since my days of designing t-shirt graphics with my screen printing
company.
Current I am working on some eBooks, some to be given
away as freebies and a couple informational products.
There is money to be made on the internet. People are doing it
everyday. I have made some money on the internet and hope to make
more. I presently own 20 domain names and have 3 sites up and
running. I have made numerous mistakes as far as running my web
sites and it's all been trial and error. Hopefully I can
pass some of this information along and prevent someone from
making the same mistakes. The internet is full
of people making exaggerated claims of income with their
programs or services. Even though there are a lot of money making
scams on the net, there are some honest and legitimate ways of
making money on the net. I
sincerely hope that my web site can be of
some help and will assist you in becoming a successful internet entrepreneur. This may not be the biggest
business site at this point but, over the next couple of months I hope
to be adding articles, freebies, possibly a blog and additional information to
assist others in achieving their home business goals.
Best wishes,
Renee' Thronson
